Clyde and Marilyn Gurosik started with a small u-pick field in 1981 and have grown their operation from there. On the 100-acre farm, you will find several large strawberry fields, rows and rows of blackberries, flowers, and vegetables grown on site, as well as a farm store offering local peaches and other products. Gurosik’s is the only farm in Edgefield County offering “pick your own” strawberries and blackberries as well as retail and wholesale options for customers.

Gurosik’s Berry Plantation main farm market is located at 345 Briggs Rd in North Augusta.

During the season, you can find folks happily filling their own buckets with fruit, picking a bouquet of zinnias and gladiolus, and picnicking at the tables under a covered shelter. For the young and young at heart, you can also purchase a bag a food to take down to the pond to feed the fish! In addition to the main farm market, you can find Gurosik’s roadside markets located throughout the area.
Although hit hard by Hurricane Helene, Clyde and Marilyn have worked to restore areas of their farm to ensure they could be open for the 2025 season. Much care has gone into this family operation, and it is evident as soon as you arrive. If you’re in the area, pay them a visit and enjoy the fruits of their labor! http://www.gurosiksberryplantation.com/about/

Gurosik’s grows several acres of hybrid blackberries.
Clyde grows his own tomatoes, squash, onions, spinach and lettuce.
