Do you love having houseplants in your home to brighten a space and to improve air quality? If you have pets that love to chew or eat your plants, choosing plants that won’t poison your beloved fur baby is important.
Why Avoid Toxic Houseplants for Pets
Many plants contain phytoxins, toxic substances that a plant naturally produces to defend itself against predators or diseases.
Always check with the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) List of Toxic and Non-Toxic Plants before purchasing a new plant to bring into your home.
