This tomato is scarred on the side facing the prevailing winds. It was found on the outside row, next to a dirt drive row and an open field. It had also not rained in quite a while, so it was very dusty and windy. The reason for the scarring is from windblown sand coming from the dirt road. The side of the tomato that was tucked into the bush and away from the wind looks fine. You will be able to purchase this tomato and all of his half-scarred buddies in the #2 bin at this farmer’s market.
