This cool-season weed called swinecress (Coronopus didymus) was found coming up in a mustard field. As a seedling, swinecress grows in a rosette, as seen here. As it matures and begins to flower, it takes on a more spreading form. Tiny, white flowers will begin blooming in late winter and will continue until the weather turns hot. Swinecress tends to show up in vegetable fields, row crop fields, lawns, and gardens in the winter. Read more about swinecress here.
