Banana Slug
Banana slugs are common in the moist areas of the Redwood forests. They can range in colors from yellow to the brown of a ripe banana, thus the name. They are one of the largest terrestrial mollusks and can reach lengths of 7 inches or greater. Barbara H. Smith, ©2018 HGIC, Clemson Extension
